Self-discovery through play, failure, and connection is how humans learn to be human. Games and theatre exercises offer the opportunity for physical, emotional, and energetic experimentation. The drive to create spaces for this experimentation has driven my work leading theatre workshops in prisons and building spaces for community arts. I create containers where people can experiment, fail, and be witnessed through it all. The interpretation of rules, necessary failure, and roles people take on in these spaces aren't by accident; they're mirrors that reveal who we are and who we're becoming through states of play.
